These are some frequently asked questions u should take into consideration when determining which lift is right for you.
Single Post - Used for storage purposes only, these lifts leave the smallest foot print while in the raised position allowing you to have the maximun amount of avaiable space in your garage.
Two Post - Your standard maintenance lift, if your a do it yourself home mechanic or just opening up a new shop, these lifts are designed for working on your vehicle not storage.
Four Post - Four post car stackers are the most cost effective way to add more in door parking for your residence or buisness, unlike the single post they are not strictly for storage, they can be used for minor maintenance on your vehicle.
Subteranian -The epitimy of automotive storage lifts, now you see it now you dont. These lifts literally raise out of your garage floor receive the vehicle and drop back down leaving a virtually empty garage.
When trying to determine how much ceiling height is required you will need to measure from the floor to the nearest obstruction(light fixture, ceiling fan, garage door opener, etc...)once you know your available clearence measure the height of both vehicles being stored and add ten inches, if you have that clearence we can find the right lift to fit your garage.
Overall Height - Mostly applies to two post clearfloor automotive lifts, this tells you the clearence required from floor to ceiling in order for your lift itself to fit in the garage.
Overall Lifting Height - Tells you the amount of clearence you have from floor to bottom of the lift while in the maximum raised position, this is crucial for determining if your second vehicle will fit under the vehicle being stored in the air.
Overall Width - Describes how wide your lift is from outside column to column, overall width determines if your lift will fit in the space you have available.
Overall Drive Through Clearence - Describes how wide your lift is from inside column to column, measure the width of your vehicle to determine if it will be able to squeeze into its new home.
At R S Automtive we work hand in hand with local distributors, so we can pickup and deliver your lift on site personally to avoid unecesary delay with shipping companies. If your lift cant be found locally we will have it shipped to the nearest terminal loaded on our trailer and deliver it right to your garage.
Once you have decided which lift is right for you we can pick up, deliver, and install in two to three days, installation typically takes less than three hours.
All new lifts come with a one year parts only waranty.
